Botanik the Label is a fresh new initiative from textile artist Miranda Earle. Miranda has over 20 years experience designing and hand-printing fabrics and hand-sewing small production runs of her own designs. Botanik the label represents the first small steps towards upscaling the production of her unique designs and prints for a wider audience.

Living and working in the beautiful Blue Mountains of NSW, Miranda draws inspiration from the exquisite botanical form of the Australian bush for her fabric print designs.

She is a mother of three wonderful children and says that motherhood has informed everything about her approach to design.

“Motherhood taught me to slow down. When my children were little I remember becoming really conscious of being in the present for the first time in my life. With three little beings soaking in your presence continuously it changes you. With Botanik the Label I wanted to create clothing that delivered comfort and nourishment on every level. Of course, the texture of the fabric, and the cut of the dress needed to feel right. I created clothing that made me feel fresh and glowing when I wore them, make-up or no make-up, messy hair thrown in a bun or not. In our age of conscious consumerism, I also knew that I wanted my customers to feel totally comfortable with their purchase which is why I took my time to find the right factories and print houses to deliver every ethical and sustainable standard.”
